how are they distorted? Caddy Corner?...from front to back? .008" isn't "too" bad but you are catching close to the max. You can always use a thicker HG to keep compression ratio down and or modify the chambers some.
Ultimately it really depends on the severity of the heads. Take it to your local machine shop and have them indicate the deck in to be sure its .008" off and to see where the warp is pin pointed at. A straight edge is a quick check but an indicated surface is much more precise and will tell you more in depth what you can do to remedy the situation.
