working on my in tank fuel sending unit I ended up mounting the pump a bit lower than stock and now the shapes of the inlet tube for the pump and the fitting for the pickup sock are making it difficult to get a hose to connect them. Pushlok and regular rubber fuel hose are too stiff to make the bend without kinking, and since that particular part of the system sees no pressure (only a mild vacuum), I am considering using a piece of 8mm silicone vacuum hose. I don't really like the idea because I don't know how well silicone will do submersed in fuel, but i'm struggling with ideas.
anyone know of another flexible type of hose I can use that is more suited to fuel? shouldn't need to be pressure rated.
Thanks
