Message	"I don't want to help you this week, because ......" will save you a lot of frustration. I imagine from your post that you now have a bunch of "friends" who expect you to work for free, so it will be difficult to change thier way of thinking. You can start by stating that you have come to realize that you can, and should, make some money for your time. Then let them know that your free time is prioritized: 1. for myself, 2. jobs I make money on, 3. jobs I do for free for friends. When you almost never get around to #3, they'll figure out to pay you or go someplace else, which is good.
