5 years ago, when i did the build, the heads had a peice of spark plug porcelin go through the #4 cylinder (hence the buiild). the head had some dings in it so we refreshed both heads, and did all the block work for the build. i have all the cranks checked and staightened where needed no matter how small of wobble may be in them... (spec can be as large as .004" - we get them to .001" or less). motor was recently dyno'd with the E85 and the 1000cc setup (just swapped out the cheaper injectors for the ID injectors)...

Best run: 1.60 60', 11.319 @ 120.65 mph - 118 octane fuel (on 100 octane tune), 22 degrees of timing, 21-22 psi boost, 11 psi tire pressure (street slicks). "..know your car better... RACE IT!.. AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE.." "Drag racing is for fast cars... Autocross is for fast drivers... Drifting is for cheap tires..." I made up the last one.. |
