the red and black scheme. I didn't expect so many responses by time I woke lol. Let me try and answer all the questions and points. I also had a professional shop hone and mic my block and I'll have to dig up the info they gave me. When buying the rings and bearings I was here a few times with questions and am confident I got those right. Now that it is morning, I've installed the front main bolt and it turns very easily with my torque wrench. Again, I heard that over lubing with assembly lube could be bad so I used what I thought was a reasonable amount. The only noise I hear is like a small scraping within the cylinder walls due to the rings(noticed this after first ring install and also I spaced them correctly according to FSM)Could this be due to hone and new rings? I've been going by the FSM religiously ob all parts thus far, just a concerned first time builder and the gents here as as knowledgeable as they come :) Additionally, after bearing install which was a couple months ago I mic'd the conn rods w/ caps and the main beam bolted down and all were within spec as per the FSM. I'll have to dig those out of the garage later today.
