Take it for some test runs around the neighborhood, where you can shoot a bunch of footage and then look at it, shoot some more, look at it, etc. Since it doesn't have a preview, you won't know if you are getting a good angle until you get home that night, and it sucks when you miss a whole day at the track. Play with mount points on your car (the suction cup is amazing) and filming settings so you know what you're doing before track/drive day. That will also help you get comfortable with the buttons & settings, which can be a little obtuse at first. LOVE this cam, so much fun.
