One of the (many) throttle body springs (the closest to the firewall) rubbed a hole in the heater core hose and it spewed all over the place. Fortunately, it happened while I was hanging out in a parking lot with a bunch of car guys, and one of them had a truck & trailer, so we were able to get it home safely. At least it'll be a pretty easy and cheap fix. Now to make sure it doesn't happen again!
On a side note, I was experimenting with different microphones for my GoPro Hero2 HD and the external mic's (before the coolant line blew). Everything from $2 ebay ones, to $25 Sony ones, etc. The video below is with the $2 ebay microphone, mounted in the engine bay, on the (US) driver side shock tower, about 16" away from the turbo. I wasn't flooring it (redline is 8000 rpm), just trying to see the differences in sound. I have open wastegates, so it gets overmodulated past a certain point. I can't for the life of me figure out why the CEL comes on under load (knock sensor I know), but the PowerFC is telling me everything's fine... must be 1/2 the voltage or twice the voltage or something. RB26 has two knock sensors, both on the same side of the block. It has done that since it was tuned, and has zero detonation, etc.
