Message Steady state testing would be beneficial for testing the effectiveness of the core in shedding heat to the ambient airflow, but totally removes the heatsink effect of intercooler, which is significant on a bar and plate core due to its mass.

That being said, I'd like to see some thermal imaging of the IC to get an idea of the charge air distribution across the core. I suspect the end tanks could make use of some internal baffling.
