Message Put down 673RWHP on a built Z today, having the dynojet setup with (2) thermocouples for measuring intercooler inlet and outlet temps, manifold pressure, A/F, power, and torque.... and comparisons of a FMIC vs. our sidemount intercoolers.

Ive got a good bit of data to crunch to produce efficiency plots on the numbers but we are happy with the confirmation of our suspicions - we are seeing efficiency results in the 90 percentile on our massives even at 31psi of boost pressure and discharge temps peaking at only 110F with ambient temps in the mid 80's..... and the consistency of the MASSIVES is even better.

Tomorrow we will be doing this all over again on another Z coming in for a complete dyno tune to back up the results and should have a nice Christmas present for the community. :)

In addition, now that we have everything setup on the dyno to acquire the necessary data, we have a couple of other sets of intercoolers we will be doing this with over the next few weeks.

I also want to put a call out there for an intercooler roundup so we can test all of the other units that are currently available on the market. So if you guys have a set of SMICs that aren't in use and if you are interested to see how they stack up, we would be more than happy to perform the testing on them and add them to the collective. Feel free to email us if you are interested!

Sorry to tease with this post, we're a bit giddy over here right now after all the hard work paying off. Stay tuned and we will deliver the data very soon!
