| The system does not use the Ionisation Current monitoring method, sorry. What it does do is the next best thing. It uses an alogorithm to listen for when the knock occured in comparison to when the ignition fired to determine which cylinder ignition to retard. Way better than the stock system for monitoring knock. This makes it much more accurate in determining knock from other engine noises and lets you have a nice means of control during any RPMs.
