Message Hi,

I would like to get some suggestions for my future suspension upgrade but first of all.. My story goes as follows..

I've bought a 1990 300ZX Black N/A from the local salvage, the previous owner did the TT swap and removed the AC but as I discovered later while looking closer at the car he didn't really cared about the Z. I have the impression that he did the swap, drove until the car was almost "done" and salvaged it on purpose in order to get some money out of it.

What I discovered was:
1. The car smokes white smoke (burns antifreeze my guess)
2. Major oil leak/leaks ALL OVER underneath , I don't really know where it's coming from for now..
3. Transmission comes out of gear in the 3rd and 4th
4. Air leaks, and lots of other minor problems although the interior is in a pretty good shape.
5. Rust underneath , requires some body work
6. I did the compression test, the result was 150

Since the car was salvaged i have to pass the body and mechanical inspection in order to get it on the road which means - lots of work has to be done.

Im planning to take the engine out clean and repaint the engine bay + put back AC.
Underneath, sand blast , weld, spray a protective coat, repaint etc. Rebuild the engine.

So that was the brief introduction, now in order to pass the mechanical inspection i want to change all the bushings + complete suspension upgrade in order to get a smooth ride, quite interior. Its gonna be a daily driver so what are your suggestions on the suspension upgrade?

I already bought 19 inch RPM R505 wheels with Nexen N3000 tires. I have the Z1 2 piece 13" brake package and was planning to get the Eibach / KYB 300ZX Pro-Kit Springs/Adjustable Shock Kit and replace all the bushings. Should i get OEM bushings or Aftermarket stuff?

Its my first post and its kinda random,
im looking forward to get some replies on what should i do.

Thank You
