Message Most front mounts are not made correctly that are sold for the Z. Most front mount intercoolers for the Z have a very small charge face (The amount of tube area for the air to flow through) that only use half of the side tank area and go across. (This restricts the flow and adds pressure drop) Most reverse the factory cross flow intake design, most add extra tubing length, and add tighter bends as can be seem below.

When I put my car together, the Ash Massive's were not available. I wanted larger diameter pipes, I wanted the least amount of bends, and the shortest distance.
I was not worried about cooling issues as I was going full drag race without A/C.

The intercooler on my car flows top/bottom, with a large charge face. It allowed all the pipes to be shorter and straighter.

I do not recommend the intercooler on my car for a street car with A/C or road race car.
