| The deal between Fred and I is a business deal and really has no reason to be on the forum IMHO. The grudge you have with me although 7+ years old also calls into play my business ethics and how I deal with customers. So it is decent forum info. So I will be 110% honest and tell you and everyone how it all went down so maybe we can put this to rest. First let me give you some info about the goings on and then I will answer you questions below. At SGP during the time the ordeal went down with Rob's motor I was working in the front and did parts sales, ordering, etc. There were 3-4 techs that tore down motors, built motors, worked on cars etc... The shop was run extremely loosely. We had core parts and motors everywhere. No one could tell you when and where a specific core came from. They would just grab one and a set of heads and sned them to the machine shop. I do things MUCH different now. Every motor is numbered and I can not only tell you who it came from but also who it goes out to. With that said I can now honestly tell you why and how Rob got N/A heads and why the 30 was ground off. The ground off number was NOT done at SGP nor at the machine shop. One of the techs just grabbed a set of heads and probably never even noticed the ground off numbers. I found out in 2009(at IPP) how that happened when I receieved a core motor from Peter Kelly. Peter had an ATK motor that had failed on him and I built him one of my cores. He then sent back the ATK motor that was in his car and what do you know....it had N/A heads on it and the numbers had been ground off. I swear to GOD that is 100% the truth. Now why one of the SGP Techs missed that and not only sent those heads to the machine shop AND installed them on the motor without noticing I could not tell you. But I can say again with 100% truth. *I* was not the one who did it AND it certainly was not done intentionally. So with one part of the story told let me get into the rest. Again I will be 100% truthful :You and your "business tactics" are laughable..Your so called "facts" are blatant lies... :"1. It was not even you. It happened to someone you know that just happened to have his car in your shop. Ash was the one who worked on the car." :I dont even know what this means...Are you that obtuse? That makes it ok and none of my business? lmfao...The customers car was at my shop, so yes it is "my responsibility since it was at my shop." Im sure you dont get this beingst that you dont know how to take any kind of responsibility when things get fucked up on your watch because of you and your companies business strategy.. Basically I had already talked to both Rob(who purchased the motor) and Ash who I already knew and knew he was the mechanic on the car. Then you called irrate. I had no clue who you were. I had already talked to Rob and Ash so you yelling in my ear wasn't helping the issue at all. In fact it made it worst since you royally pissed me off. :"2. Blantant bait and switch?? Not even close. A mistake was made. The mistake was corrected to the customers satisfaction. Let it go....." :Really..This wasnt one mistake Kyle..You said "We do all it the time!" Same flow! to both me and Ash.. Yeah right...You then tried to feed me bullshit and made every excuse in the world...Luckily we did some testing ourselves and of course it pointed out you were lying your ass off and laughing about it. Ok here is 100% the truth. I am a business person and when a problem arrises I try my best to deal with it the best I can to make the customer happy BUT also trying not to LOOSE money!! Rob had ordered the basic stage 1 motor which had NO port work and stock cams. Ash had told me in one of our conversations that the N/A heads that Rob did get looked like they had some port work done to them(maybe ATK did it?) so I tried to see if Rob would be OK keeping those heads since I knew he was getting Sport 500 turbos. After Ash and Rob said they didn't want to do that we did end up doing a set of TT heads for him and NEXT DAY airing them to him. So yes I tried my best to talk Rob into keeping those heads since it was going to cost a fortune to replace them. I wasn't trying to screw anyone. I was just trying to work out a deal so we didn't LOOSE a ton of money. In the long run Rob did get the TT heads he wanted and we ate the shipping costs and a few other things if I remember. :"3. The Customer is fine with the outcome. The person who worked on the car(Ash) is fine with the outcome. LET IT GO....." :I am fine with the outcome. You fixed your problem AFTER we called you and found you were trying to pull a fast one..which was a joke in itself..If it was a mistake, why were the "40p" numbers shaved off the head? EXACTLY See above. I actually have pictures of the ATK motor with the shaved off head numbers if you would like to see. I am being 100% honest. Also I know you have asked here many times and NO other SGP customer has said they recieved a TT motor with N/A heads on them. I honestly believe it was a mistake by an SGP Tech not paying enough attention. : :"You are just mad because you called me with a shit attitude and I gave you a shit attitude back. But in the end the MISTAKE was corrected" :Lol.. I am on the phone all day dude for my job too.I certainly wouldnt give a customer who is RIGHTFULLY MAD about receiving a switched out inferior product "attitude back." You just proved my fucking point you tool/... : Bullshit artists like you that blame everyone else when you were obviously a HUGE part in that debacle is very laughable. : I didnt have an attitude either when I called you but I am sure you would certainly be alittle bothered finding out you were scammed..I felt bad for my customer since he was obviously duped into buying your switched out na heads, and I TOLD HIM TO GO TO YOU.. :Seems like you are well respected here and it seems as though you may have changed your ways..Until I saw your response. Ok Coz? Good day... Like I said before. You and I did NOT get along on the phone. I was already talking to the person who purchased the motor(Rob) and Ash so having you also give me attitude did not help the situation. I will say that a mistake was made. I did try my best to "fix" the mistake for the least amount possible. But I was not the one who put that motor together and honestly it was not done on purpose. In the end the customer was taken care of. I didn't just tell you guys to F off. I did take care of it to the satisfaction of the customer and the mechanic with some heated phone calls between you and I in between....LOL So there you have it. I hope this can put a close to your 7+ year grudge.
