It's more of a laziness thing, but at my first track event last August (90+ in Kershaw,SC) my car was heating up while pushing it hard on the track. After coming into the paddock, it would return to normal after a few minutes of idling. In theory, this could be a safeguard... but probably only usefull if you do lots of track stuff... AutoX seems like it's too short to pose a problem, but driving on a track at 8/10ths for 20+ minutes in 90+ temps can. My two cents Stacy
