| I have a low mileage set of Sport 530 turbos that are having unusual problems and I need to know if they are bad. They boost to around 4psi immediately and then at around 4500rpm, they climb to around 16psi like they should. They also make a strange sound if I rev them and let off. It sounds kinda raspy or maybe like something is grinding, I can't really tell. They are still making good peak power, they are just coming on very weird. The car 100% without a doubt is boost leak free and is showing code 55. It also doesn't smoke at all. Anyways, I'm trying to decide whether I need new turbos or need to rebuild these, etc. Is there anything else that this could be? Pre-turbo exhaust leak? Any help would be great and my profile is up to date (although I probably forgot a few things).
