It's the same offense, regardless of speed. (Of course that's different if measured speed is used to give you a "reckless" ticket, but you've said that isn't the case.) Point is, you are guilty of the crime whether the speed written on the ticket is accurate or not. A defense of
"I was doing 80, not 90, in a 65 zone" just won't work.
