I know there are other people besides myself that are plagued with their battery draining or dying after the car has been sitting for a week or two with no explanation. Some have said (in older posts) that it's the security light blinking away on the dash that causes this issue, but after changing mine to LED, it still drained or almost died after a week. An interesting resolution... detach your stereo face plate. My stereo like others requires the key to be in and turned to accessory or whatever and won't turn on otherwise. I recently charged my battery and did just as my friend had suggested, removed my faceplate and my battery is going into week 3 and still plenty of juice to start. Thought I would share.
