| Before switching, I found that the shudder was greatly alleviated, though not totally gone, when I swapped over to the 4.10 differential. Talking with Joe, we came to a semi-conclusion that it may not be the right choice for car's configured like mine (JUN flywheel, 1pc driveshaft, 3.69 differential) if shudder-free/stock-like engagement is a priority for the owner. As far as I was concerned, it was intolerable for a streetcar, especially in traffic or putting around parking lots. Switched to the OFE-X, and it made a world of difference. I am quite satisfied with it. Any shudder from the OFE-X is at worst, very mild, and very infrequent. I imagine once I swap over to the 4.10 gears for good, there will be zero instances of shudder at all. Both clutches "feel" great, pedal effort is surprisingly easy. My JWT clutch required noticeably more leg effort. But the FE-X just wasn't the right match for my car.
