Message He still had the instructions from the install and it didn't warn away from using the helper springs.

There is now a distinct line drawn on when to start using helper springs.
It's possible the design changed slightly to allow a softer ride?

Talking to Evan though, he explicitly said he tried helper and non-helper setups with the 7k/5k's he had and no dice.

To be perfectly honest, although I really like them, had I remembered before the order went in I would have asked for 6k/4k.
That would put the numbers closer to stock and give me room to go *both* ways, not just harder.

As I sit now it feels fairly comfortable, but I'm using "1", so I have no option of going softer.
Using SS coilovers with no helpers, no preload, I think 6k/4k would let me have say, 3-4 adjustments softer in case I wanted a closer to stock feel.

Nevertheless, I think Evan's completely ES bushing'ed setup with ball-bearing style arms/etc might have just made it too rough.
