Hi guys, The Stillen GTZ (the one that doesn't look like the front of a Batmobile) has some good size (half dollar ish) chips along the leading edge that reveal the black inner part of the bumper (I assume it chipped off the paint?), along with some cracks. There are also several hairline/spider cracks farther up on the bumper and around my fog lights that seem to have gotten worse. The bumper was like this for the most part when I bought the car. Along with several small paint chips, it's beginning to look pretty bad and the pain has some yellowing (white car). I have a couple questions on this repair:1. I've done research and know you can't just use Bondo. Would this ([ http://3mcollision.com/products/plastic-repair/plastic-repair ]) flexible plastic repair from 3M work? 2. I've read that for the cracks, you need to "V" them with a die grinder. Does this apply to every crack, even the tiny hairline ones? If so, I will be V-ing most of my bumper. 3. As for the more major, deeper chipping on the leading edge, I would guess the 3M patches would work? What about the material that is starting to chip (by the current chips), but hasn't come off yet? 4. After all repairs and when it comes time to paint, should I strip the whole thing (actually that would have to be done before repairs), or just use wet/dry paper to rough it up? Thanks for any and all suggestions!
