| Air pollution is released when a factory produces new vehicles, batteries for hybrids etc. Bottom line i put 3-4k miles a year on this car so i dont really care about air pollution. There's plenty of pieces of crap on the road spewing pollution into the air just because they are run down and old. If they can do it in the name of being cheap and not keeping up with the maintenance on their car, then I don't feel bad doing it in the name of speed There's no emissions tests on motorcycles, ATV's Jet Ski's Dirt Bikes, or any other recreational vehicles like that, and as far as i'm concerned my 300zx is a recreational vehicle, except i just have to register and insure it in order to use it. 3-4k miles a year on a car with test pipes doesn't really leave my conscience feeling bad at all. There's a reason they stopped testing emissions on these older cars and they dont test them on bikes and such, because there aren't enough of them, and they aren't used in the same way that a newer commuter car would be, making emissions testing not really worthwhile
