Message	the road from me told me when I took my fiance's car there to get inspected. We got to talking about car stuff, and the emissions topic came up. So he very well could have told me incorrect info, but I made it very obvious that he would not be getting money from me to inspect the Miata regardless because of the county thing, so I don't think he was thinking he'd get a few extra bucks out of me. My car would fail for far more than just the test pipe, so I don't even think I could get away with it in a non-emissions county unless they don't check for anything at all related to it (I have no cat, no carbon canister, little turbo that shouldn't be there, etc). Having to keep FL plates on it is getting to be a pain though, so I'm interested to hear about this county to county emissions testing thing out here.
