| Thanks man... All timing belt stuff is brand new down to the Ramey Z studs since the last 5k miles. At the time i didnt have enough money to replace the VTC even though they are probably fine just dont want them pissing out oil in the future. Hmm rod bearings and oil pump... I'll prob pick up another timing belt anyway. For the 5sp swap. I have a spare 5sp tranny from a jdm TT. NOt exactly sure of the condition of the internals. All gears seem to be working when i turn in... Still an unknown factor. It came with a flywheel that needs machining and the clutch looks like it has 80% life left. My buddie just sold me a box of tranny swap parts sitting in a box which includes brand new NA style master cylinder and stainless steel clutch lines, brackets etc etc and claims i have everything i need.
