| "It is true that the turnbuckle would not break but it is also true that the collar would get crushed." Crushed collars is a cosmetic issue, it does not cause the arms to collapse as compared to insufficient thread engagement. If you search REALLY far back, I have stated that the "offset" design gives less adjustment range, however Powertrix and others continued to FALSELY advertise the same adjustment range as our version with the longer buckle. "In fact, they were not even a Z32 design. They were made for the R32 and just happened to fit on a Z32 The problem was with the lack of an offset with the arm. That was the reason for the crushed collars. The turnbuckle would not break but there was not a lack of problems altogether. " INCORRECT. It was designed to fit the Z32 as well as the R32 -- the OEM R32 GT-R arm will not fit the Z32, an arm designed only to fit the R32 would not fit the Z32. "Kuah eventually stopped selling them several years ago. To be honest, this was the best thing he could have ever done for his customers. Selling the wrong part is never good business. I'm sure we can agree there. I'm actually surprised he has not made any arms of his own by now. He would just have to use the offset arms that Powertrix designed specifically for the Z32." I am surprised you could read my mind and determine the reason why I stopped selling the arms. FYI the offset arms was designed by Escort Racing, the Powertrix arms are a copy of that design. The offset design is just a minor revision to the Midori/TBO design. All those designs have a fundamental design flaw (nothing to do with the offset or not issue), which is why I stopped selling any of those designs. "I have is that people erroneously think they are leaps and bounds better than Powertrix when, in reality, many of their products are built by the same company in Korea." INCORRECT. Our products are made in the USA, which BTW is a claim that IS defined by the FTC: [ http://business.ftc.gov/documents/bus03-complying-made-usa-standard ]
