If any thing I would find a spare block and heads and just build those slowly while your still enjoying your car moving under its own power... A NA block will work for this... The heads won't. Take the block apart and put some good forged pistons with stock rods in... That combo will be able to hold most anything under 500hp. Then find some 40p heads, and just piece it together over time... Once you have the long block put together. Drop the chunk of change on some new style injectors, mildly upgraded turbo's and then start your swap.
You would be surprised at how long a rebuild can take if done right. Then looking at your car without a motor gathering dust will make you impatient and you'll cut corners and end up messing stuff up.
