rifle-drill the cams for oil supply and drainage,

tap the cams for the valve in the back,

drill the heads for a dedicated oil supply to the front cam bearing/advance mechanism (cannot rely upon oil from the lifter galleries),

turn a band in the front cam bearing surface to supply oil 100% of cam rotation,

turn down the front snout of the cams to fit the current VTC hub diameter (they will also need to have a smaller dowel pin or the VTC will need to be machined to work with the larger exhaust dowels or some combination of both),

fab up mounts for the solenoids on the heads (welding),

program the ECU to activate/deactivate them,

and, as you said... figure out the CAS issue.

It would certainly be something to brag about if you got it to work, but it's not worth anymore than that as far as I'm concerned.
