In the end, they smog to the model year of the body. The smog station manager mentioned that they go by what the computer tells them to look for when they enter the VIN into the database. This is supported by the fact that my dad's '93 passed through this shop without any issue. If there was ever a need for Kenny to use his hacking skills, this would be it. :-) Dave
