Message I think SPL is the bees knees. You pay for 'em, and perhaps they're a bit over-engineered for daily drivers, but I don't think you'll ever regret the purchase. Don't forget about SPL's trade in program either, it'll help offset upgrade costs if you move that direction in the future.

Powertrix also has a good name around here and I've never heard of any customer support problems. You certainly can't balk at their pricing either. They're also solid enough product to have been straight up copied by the Chinese competitors, "highest form of flattery" and all.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. Since it sounds like cost is a concern Powertrix is probably your best bet right now.

My story:
When i first got my Tein coilovers I picked up the Powertrix combo package from Z1 but the Powertrix rear adjustable upper arms were out of stock so they asked me if I was ok with the AMS ones. After some questions to them in regards to quality I agreed. Install of everything (Powertrix and AMS) went swell and I used everything for about 5 months before I parked my car for it's current overhaul. Upon disassembly I discovered that the AMS rear upper arms, although chromed, still managed to rust worse than I would have expected. A bit or rust had formed on the chromed Powertrix stuff too, but not nearly as bad by comparison. As of now, I'm going SPL all the way, but cost isn't as much an issue for me and my multi-year hobby/project car.
