Mine is a 96TT, and really a DD, no track duties whatsoever, and none planned. I'm not into xtreme lowering, but since I put 18s on (everything else OEM), the fender gap, mostly in rear, is not the most pleasing to my eyes. I can go Eibach/OEM shocks, but does it make any sense to do that with nearly 80K on the OEM shocks, even if the feel "great?" I like the OEM shock damping adjustability function but I'm not sure how the Eibach Springs/OEM shock marriage thing will work. Chime in please. I don't mind going full blown, even with aftermarket coilovers, but my other options with the Eibachs (and I really like these) would be the Tokico Illuminas (had these on my Z31 and no complaints whatsoever), Tein S or Tein H. Problem is that I may have to mod the suspension to make these work - camber adjustment or more, and will definitely loose the very convenient OEM shock damping adjustability, and not sure how the Teins will work on a 50+ year old on a DD. Please advice. Thanks.
