I have never had a car so prone to cracked tails. I bought a set of jspecs second hand about five or six years ago and they lasted until roughly 12 months ago before they started getting some small cracks and then the floodgates opened when I was forced to park the car outside for a couple weeks. Rather than fork out more money for jspecs I bought a set of usdm tails and swapped the lenses over using the diy jspec writeup and all looked good. Two days later cracks again. Any insight as to how to avoid this or at least an explanation as to why it happens would be greatly appreciated. I am terrified I will ante up for new jspecs only to have them crack on me, but it just kills me that my otherwise clean car has ugly tails on it.
