Message the concept of bore wash and the issues of unmetered air and bov's... I just don't think it would be enough to cause wash.

I doubt that in the fraction of a second the BOV's are open that any significant damage occurs in relation to MANY other normal issues.

Such as starting it up in the morning, I'm sure more raw fuel is dumped on startup than many many blow off's...

Or people who just run rich in general. Lots of people run rich with turbo cars.. Is it bad for their engines too?

What about people cranking their car with no spark issues? again, I'm sure more raw fuel would be dumped there than a hundred Blow off's...

I don't doubt greg... that's just my .02

I guess what I would want to know is... does any "damage" occur if the engine DOES NOT DIE?
