Message	... meant that the DISK looks "crappy?" I have the same clutch (only 400 miles on it) and the disk looked fine to me. Almost the same thickness at my old feramic actually. But if your mechanic is confusing the friction / pressure plate with the disk itself maybe it's time for a new mechanic. :) This is what mine looked like before I installed it. Still breaking it in and so far so good:
