It is a real problem for restorers. But with paint, you can touch up or repaint sections or areas that bubble. powder coat doesn't offer that option. At 400 degrees everything is going to outgas. And what about the warpage. To prevent it, you would have to bring the entire chassis up to temp evenly. Who has that kind of equipment? You wouldn't know if it was going to work till you tried it. Then it would be too late to fix it.One additional thought. What about collision repair? Aside from removable panels, you could never fix a dent or other collision damage. Overall it is a fun thought exercise but IMHO totally not worth the effort/expense/headaches/etc...
KKROFFTNow occurs everywhere, simultaneously. But it doesn't have to be experienced the moment it happens. Every now that ever was is still exactly when it was, when it was now.
