The plastics are still very touchy. They are great for decorative covers and dust shields that don't really take any loads and would be a pain to machine or lay up. The metal sintering is the shit though. You can do what he did in the video but way more accurately and you end up with a solid metal piece. All 3d printing is still major $$$ though.
