Message	specified in OD. B&B, Labree, Borla, all sell exhaust systems advertised as 2.5" which is the OD of the piping. The E-bay / Megan pipes are all 60mm OD piping which is smaller than 2.5" piping. Most of the stuff coming out of China is metric like this.
