I got the driver's side window switch mechanism from a JDM Z and the plug in regulator part from inside the door panel. Take out your driver's side switch assembly from your Z and exchange the switch part from the JDM bezel to your bezel. It has the 'double-detente' click for both up and down. Second, pull your door panel and unplug the plastic regulator from your wiring harness and install the one from the JDM car. Re-install door panel and switch assembly. Done, you now have one-touch up and down for your driver's window.
As the passenger window doesn't have this feature on either JDM or North American Z's you'd have for fashion something from a JDM driver's switch. Haven't got that far yet.
I've had this on my convertible for 3 years now, works great!
