I have recently found a neighbor who has a 95 tt 86k miles with a seized motor. I drained some oil and it had no shavings in it and also pulled the pluggs none were fouled, I own a 90ttwith 91k miles wich is in need of a new harness and injectors and cas. I can buy his car along with a new 95+ spoiler stillen nose panel and front bumper sillen oil cooler and eibach springs and alot of other extras all still in boxes for 5k, seems like too good of a deal to pass up. But my main question is, would it make sense to drop my motor into his car and use his cas and heads his harness and fuel rail?? also with the electronic hicas on the 95 would i just use his power steering pump. It would be great to have the second chassis and engine to build up for a future project. I already have 740 injectors and the selin, waiting on my ash intclr/pipng,. before i spend another 2k on on harneses and new heads and a cas and a second maf. I was just curious if any of you would just rather buy the new stuff or use it off a donor car with the secondary benifit being a second block and chassis. Financially either way i will have spent close to the same, I guess im just looking for justification on wich direction to go from the gurus here. thank you in advance
