| I've got my gas tank out to be cleaned up while I work on some other underbody stuff and I've decided that I want to get rid of the god awful clamps and hoses and convert everything on the tank to AN fittings. My main motivation is due to the hard time I had getting the rubber hoses on and off while installing a new fuel pump through the little interior port hole a while back. So, to get to the point.... What do I need to know to get this done?
Are there tricks to installing the fittings on hard lines vs the hoses themselves?
Where's a good place to buy the tools, fittings and hose?
Are there preferred brands of fittings or are they all the same?
Does AMS make AN fittings? (just kidding)
Any thoughts on the stainless vs nylon casing on the lines? (I know I don't want this happening to my fuel tank) I know there are probably other places out on the intertubes where I could find this sort of info, but I prefer to hear experiences from the tt.net community.
