Message It would certainly limit the load and movement on those gaskets.

I definitely missed the rubber hoses part but at the same time vibration is more a function of resonances. If the harmonics on the bottom end are near the natural frequency of the flapping they are going to respond. There's plenty of power driving the exitation and the plenums are cantilevered without the brackets as Dave mentioned. Powerful vibration even at low amplitude is definately underrated... I've seen a beefy 3/8" inconel bracket snap on a vibe table with what seemed like just a little vibration.

Theres no way to really know with the power loss but the link I posted wasn't the first time I've heard of that. It really would be interesting to see a back to back dyno just to know. I'm not saying its going to happen on our cars, just that it's probably worth thinking about.
