Message	Without those mounting points the plenum would have a "flapping wings" vibrational mode. FWIW, I googled "intake plenum vibration" and this was among the hits: La-Z-Link It seems plausible that structure borne vibrations could interfere with flow path harmonics but I cant vouch for sure. At a minimum everything that connects to it would be subject to a more powerful vibration spectrum. www.selindesign.net
