It really depends on your preferences, do you listen to the music loud, do you like strong bass etc. If you want a decent system. I would personally on a budget kind of decision, get some infinity kappa's. Not the cheapest but a nice speaker for the money. Those pioneers will sound tinny and the sony's are not what they use to be. I personally run a Ampless Old school clarion DRX9375R head unit, with DPH9300 DSP, EQ and a set of DynAudio components in the front, with a Eclipse titanium 12" sub. For amps I use the Eclipse Class D amps. I like SQL over SPL any day. Don't sacrifice for a few dollars more you can get a better system and be happier in the long run. It's pay now or pay later..
