Message a) The pads were never tracked or autox'd on... and in fact I maybe had the pads on for a month or two before the shims fell off... all highway driving, then I replaced them with the second set of pads I won and they did the same thing.
b) Ok, so the tie rods are built to "OEM or better specifications" but then why did my OEM ones last infinitely longer than the AMS ones!? Especially since I had autox'd on the OEM outer tie rods before I got the AMS ones.
I'm not saying that you aren't entitled to your opinion, but don't assume that all the parts were installed by a moron, and don't "LOL" at people who now can't drive their car because of crappy parts. I could see if I got a bad batch of pads, but getting two sets of bad pads and tie rods is more than just a coincidence.
BTW... The tie rods and pads were installed by a certified mechanic, who has a great reputation here in SA.
