and is by no means guaranteed to occur when combined with HIDs. Unfortunately, I just can't afford to implement that sort of replacement program. So far only around 2-3% of customers have experienced/reported this issue. Of those, all but one were fixed by simply replacing it with a translator of the same design as some units are more susceptible than others to this interference. The one tough case that didn't respond to a simple replacement was 100% cured by thorough foil shielding which has led me down the road of the design update and implementing ballast shields. Its taken a while to pinpoint exactly what the cause was but fortunately it's now pretty clear and it's being fully addressed.
