... I asked around and got a general - `build it to handle up to 1000 psi - and you should be ok' kinda response from a couple of people who should know what they are talking about. So I went with AQP Racing Hose which is spec'd up to 1000psi in the -4 to -12 AN size range. I used -8AN for all three pump connections - so far all ok - I have only done 200 miles since the change - plus a lot of tight manoeuvring of the car around the studio every week (it seems); so only time will tell if I have nailed it.
Feels as good as new, no noise (even on full lock) and no swelling/leaks so...
That's all I can say for now guys. My main worry is my choice of reservoir TBH - not sure if the seals will last long so may replace that with similar but maybe a bottle with no joins at all. Way to go I feel. I am happy with the work I have done and have no reason to worry about it breaking or leaking again - but never say never - this is a ZED after all ;-))
