Message	Hello John, Actually not a bad idea, but like I stated in my original post, the additional ducting length to move to a Ram Air configuration is nil ( or practically nil). It is a good idea, as long as there is enough real estate to fit the ducts with minimal bends. Maybe worth re-visiting when the time comes for bigger, more efficient turbos and ICs. There does come a time when you finally have to choose the best solution given the current constraints, "stop optimizing" and cut some metal! It may not be the most optimal solution, but the most practical solution that wins out...
