The side skirts are fabricated using 14 plys of Epoxy - Fiberglass tape with a tensile strength of 56 ksi.
Each hinge is mounted using 3 each 3/16ths diameter Titanium Hi-Loks (per hinge half).
There are three hinges per skirt.
The fasteners have a capability of 4800 lbs each, the hinge joint itself has 14400 lb capability (per hinge half).
(which is more than the weight of the car)
Without going thru the inter-laminar shear (ABD&E matrix shear stess) details, (which the majority of participants on this forum wouldn't understand anyway)
the side skirts at 14 balanced ply lay-up are adequate for the task, but are intentionally designed to be the "weak link" in case of a direct collision.
I have completed a formal stress / design analysis, because that's what I do for a living.
Am I willing to disclose that information on this forum?

I think everyone on this forum would agree, you better grow some thicker skin! You and others jumped all over the "bandwagon" flaming my ride, but judging by your above statement, you can dish it out, but can't take it when comes back around to you (even mildly). I think its hilarious, if it wasn't so sad... Again, I suggest to you and others like you to quit flaming folks on this forum.
Continuing to do so, will discredit this community as a whole and drive people away. Which goes completely against the intent this forum, which is to share information and to help one another out. What becomes clearly evident is that your inabilities, lack of imagination and talent are demonstrated by you and others just like you attempting to draw attention away from their own short-comings. My challenge to you and the rest of the nay-saying group is simple:
Try introducing something new and "different" on this forum yourself.
Show the participants on this forum what you are capable of doing.
Show us your abilities and craftsmanship. Until you've done that, you have nothing to stand on other than "crying wolf"...
