Message	Did you figure out the culprit? The tires were relatively new (5k mi or so) and did it to both sides. What i think happened was I hit a hard bump and the tire bottomed out and scraped against the control arm. Crazy but large (wide) tires with an off set that squeezes them in there will interfere at a certain travel height. I couldn't confirm it with testing but thought I'd pass it along.
