| Did you take any pictures of what the inside of the housing and spring conditions were? - There is no spring inside the OEM recirc. At least there wasn't any spring inside when I cut these open. Judging by the metal disc attached to the diaprhagm, I'm assuming it's a mass loaded design, kinda like a passive radiator. How recircs work The diaphram looks like it's in pretty good condition, did you test the original spring and compare it to the new? - Nope Did you do a functional test of the valves to see where they opened at before & after installation? - Nope, this mod won't change how they open or when, just reduces the resonance they introduce into the intake plumbing. Are there replacement diaphrams included in the kit? - Nope, not needed unless the factory ones are torn, and I have no idea how that would even happen. Are there a range of different springs available for adjustment of opening pressures? - Brett may have others available, but these are the ones he decided worked best after testing.
