Message	Some lower end component sets need as little as 2WRMS to play, with a range of 2-85WRMS for example. IMHO, that's more of a sales gimmick to get people to buy their product. Many comp sets start at around 25WRMS, which few HUs can deliver. Can you drive comps with a HU, sure, just like you can drive the OEM Bose tri-lobes with a HU, but I surely wouldn't recommend it. Seriously underpowering speakers can lead to destructive levels of distortion. The opinion part about it sounding good, yes, that's obviously an opinion.
