opening the hood and seeing the little filter soaked with oil.. small amounts would drip onto valve cover. I guess it is the angle that the VG's valve covers are at and the tubes that come out do not allow the oil to "hump" those curves/transitions. The only problem with running a catch can.. is the Z's engine is already tight as it is.. If you haven't had any problems with it spilling a little oil.. I will most likely go this route as well since its so simplistic. Thanks for the post with pictures explaining what you did!
